New Delhi: A virtual summer school has been launched by Amazon India for engineering students to help them learn applied machine learning skills.
Students will get the opportunity to attend the virtual classroom tutorials and engage in interactive sessions with scientists at Amazon.
According to a statement from the e-commerce giant, the programme will act as a refresher course for engineering aspirants who can earn practical perspectives of machine learning applications in the industry.
The virtual summer school can be attended by the engineering students in their pre-final or final year of their bachelor’s, master’s or PhD programmes. They will be shortlisted on the basis of an online assessment.
The programme will allow students to learn advanced machine learning techniques, including deep learning and probabilistic graphical models’ use in solving particular problems in e-commerce domain.
