Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is contemplating reopening schools on September 5, though the final decision hasn’t been taken yet. The government will take the final call regarding this as the situation demands in the future.
Following a review meeting on education, Andhra Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh told the media that though the government has set September 5 as the date, the final decision will be made based on the real-time situation.
The CM also said that until the schools reopen, dry meals will be supplied to students’ homes instead of mid-day meals.
