New Delhi: The registration portal for women military police recruitment will be closed on Tuesday, July 20. The Indian Army has a total of 100 vacancies in the women military police in soldier general duty posts. The application forms have been made available on the Indian Army’s official website.
“Recruitment rallies are planned to be conducted at Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaum, Pune and Shillong. Candidates will be allotted venue based on their home districts,” the Indian Army said.
“Kindly note that once the registration of candidates is over, a cut off list will be generated and admit cards will be issued only to a limited number of candidates proportionate to the vacancies required to be filled. Cut off merit list will be decided based on first the aggregate marks in 10th class and thereafter if there are more candidates with the same marks, then candidates of higher age will be preferred,” it said.
Candidates having cleared the class X board exam with 45 per cent marks and are between 17 to 21.5 years of age are eligible to apply for women military police.
The Indian Army will hold a common entrance exam for candidates who are declared fit in the recruitment rally. Candidates will be given medically fit certificates by concerned specialists at Military Hospital/Base Hospital/ Command Hospitals.
