Bhubaneswar: Birla Global University (BGU) welcomed MBA students for 2022-24 batch with the commencement day programme on June 23.
After the rendering of the University anthem and lighting of the ceremonial lamp, Prof. P Nayak, Dean, School of Management welcomed the students and dignitaries. He advised students to be prepared for a future which is very unpredictable and uncertain.
BGU Vice-Chancellor Prof. PP Mathur advised the newly-admitted students to ignite the spark within them and be ready to adapt to any situation.
Chief guest Kamal Prakash, Director of Jiwanram Sheoduttrai Group (Kolkata), said in his address that students should be good learners and bring behavioural changes for sustainable happiness. He also spoke on the importance of collaboration in future endeavours.
Ranjit Sinha, former head GSC India Site Support & University Relationship Programme Ericsson India Global Services (Noida) the Guest of Honour. He spoke on the importance of being technology-savvy and develop skills for excelling in the corporate world.
The function was attended by Deans of other schools, faculty members and parents.
