Bhubaneswar: Birla School of Management, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, organised an HR Conclave in the online mode recently.
Chief Executive Officer, Aquil Busrai Consulting & former Executive Director, HR, IBM Corporation, Dr Aquil Busrai, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
He spoke on the importance of value addition for businesses and the need to introduce new practices and policies for a new era as the future was unpredictable and challenging in his inaugural address.
Busrai also emphasised that HR has to bring new ideas to the table, understand the business and implement new HR practices. Senior Director, HR, ADP, Satyanarayana Vinjamoori, was the keynote speaker at the event. Citing the example of Shark tank India, he spoke as to how people of all ages were looking at business from a different perspective and sticking to the basics is the key to success.
Vice-Chancellor, Birla Global University, Prof. PP Mathur, delivered the presidential address. He stressed on smart work and on-time output-driven initiatives to stay competitive in his address.
