BHUBANESWAR: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has announced the results of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET) 2025.
Candidates can view their results on the official website, bseodisha.ac.in. This year, 75,403 candidates registered for Paper 1 and Paper 2, of which 72,413 have qualified. Notably, 48,153 candidates cleared both the papers, with the overall pass percentage of 66.50%.
According to the official notification, the results have been made available on the board’s website. The qualified candidates can download their digitized certificates by paying the required fees between November 15 and January 15, 2026.

Meanwhile, candidates who did not qualify can access and download their OMR answer sheets from the same portal, which will remain available until November 22 from 4 pm onwards.

The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 was conducted on September 27 for the certification of in-service teachers across schools in the state.
Paper 1 was designed for teachers of Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was meant for teachers of Classes 6 to 8.
According to the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), a total of 29,004 candidates registered for Paper 1, with 27,533 appearing and 12,988 qualifying, resulting in a pass percentage of 47.17%. For Paper 2, 46,399 candidates registered, 44,880 appeared, and 35,165 qualified, marking a higher pass percentage of 78.35%.
Overall, 75,403 candidates registered for both the papers, of which 72,413 appeared. Out of these, 48,153 candidates qualified, taking the combined pass percentage to 66.50%.
