CA Foundation Exams Postponed; ICAI Announces Inter, Final Schedules

New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has deferred the CA Foundation exams in light of the COVID-19 crisis throughout the country. The ICAI also declared that date sheets for CA Intermediate and Final exams scheduled for July.

“The decision to postpone the exams has been taken in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic,” the institute said.

The window for alteration in exam city will be reopened on June 9 and will continue till June 11 on icaiexam.icai.org.

According to the updated schedule, the foundation exams will be conducted on July 24, 26, 28 and 30. Earlier, these exams were slated to be conducted in June. The exams will be in two shifts. While Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, Paper 3 and 4 will be between 2 pm and 4 pm.

Meanwhile, ICAI intermediate exams (IPC and new) will be held from July 6 to 20 while the final exams, for both old and new courses, are slated to be held from July 5 to 19.

According to the ICAI, the Insurance Risk Management (IRM) technical exam for modules 1 to 5 will be conducted on July 5, 7, 9 and 11.

International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) will be from July 5 to July 7.
