New Delhi: The Delhi University (DU) Wednesday told the Delhi High Court (HC) that it cannot declare the results of undergraduate (UG) students before October end, citing a lack of resources as well as manpower.
The High Court directed DU to inform on the next hearing about the percentage of answer sheets evaluated and the status of integration of the answer sheets. The answer sheets were sent by students both via email and the Open Book Exam (OBE).
Talking about the UG students who have to leave for abroad to study, the DU informed the HC court that 342 have applied for provisional results and the same have been delivered in 157 cases.
The university said, a total of 147 students have sent incomplete information and they were being contacted for the same. The provisional results of 43 students will be sent to foreign universities by Thursday.
The DU also informed the court that 72 per cent of answer sheets from the OBE portal have been evaluated.
