Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will conduct a day-long capacity building programme for principals and senior teachers of government and government-aided colleges on January 4.
In a circular, the Higher Education Department has asked the principals and senior-most teachers to attend the programme, being held in KIIT university, without fail.
It will be addressed by the Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo.
As reported earlier, faculty members of 3000 colleges are also undergo training under the Odisha Higher Education programme for ‘excellence and equity’ as part of a World Bank project.
The programme seeks to help the teachers have a better understanding of the learning tool, the pedagogies and the teaching style. More than 10,000 teachers from both government and private colleges would be provided training in a phased manner.
