New Delhi: The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) authorities have extended the last date to apply for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 from September 16 to September 23.
Now the eligible aspirants can apply for the examination online at iimcat.ac.in before the deadline.
Also, IIM Indore has declared a few changes in the exam pattern for CAT 2020. In a press release on Tuesday, the institute said that the examinations will now be held in three sessions (instead of 2 sessions) on November 29 and the duration of the test will be 120 minutes (2 hours) instead of three hours.
There will be three sections in the question paper namely — verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Students will be given 40 minutes to solve each section and they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section, as per the notice.
The press release further stated “Tutorials to understand the format of the test will be available on the CAT website from October 2020. Candidates are advised to work on the tutorials available on the CAT website well in advance,” reported Hindustan Times.
The students can edit their registration form even after the window is closed. They can edit their test city preference, signature and photograph in the application form.
