New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a live webinar to address queries concerning the List of Candidates (LOC) registration process for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2027, along with the correction of students’ particulars.
The session was organised with the objective of making examination-related procedures more transparent and easier for students, parents and schools to navigate.
Maintain Accuracy
During the webinar on Tuesday, CBSE stressed the importance of maintaining accuracy throughout the registration and LOC submission process. The board advised schools to carefully verify students’ details at every stage and extend timely assistance to students and parents whenever necessary.
The initiative was also aimed at reducing procedural difficulties that could otherwise create unnecessary concerns for students during their board examination preparation.
Identify & Resolve Issues Early
The board further asked schools to identify and resolve issues associated with LOC registration well in advance.
CBSE said that addressing such concerns early would help students concentrate on their academic preparation without facing avoidable administrative or procedural problems.
The LOC registration process for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations 2027 has already commenced, while the registration process for students of Classes 9 and 11 is expected to begin shortly.
Opportunity for Clarifications
The registration exercise covers students studying in nearly 32,000 CBSE-affiliated schools located across India and 26 other countries. Given the scale of the process, the board has emphasised accurate and timely submission of student information by schools.
The webinar provided school authorities and educators with an opportunity to seek clarification on various aspects of registration and examination-related procedures directly from CBSE officials.
Live Q&A
A live question-and-answer session was also conducted as part of the webinar, during which senior CBSE officials responded to queries submitted by principals and teachers.
The questions covered several areas, including correction of student particulars, selection and modification of subjects, submission and verification of LOC information, registration of students in Classes 9 and 11 and provisions related to examination fees.
Maintain Submission Deadlines
The Controller of Examinations also delivered a presentation highlighting key aspects of the registration and LOC submission process.
Particular emphasis was placed on submitting registration and LOC data accurately and within the prescribed timelines.
CBSE specifically underlined the need to verify students’ personal details and subject combinations, follow the applicable fee-related provisions and correctly implement the provisions concerning Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
The webinar was streamed live through CBSE’s official YouTube channel and was attended by representatives of CBSE-affiliated schools, along with students and parents. More than 450 school principals and educators participated in the programme held in New Delhi.
