New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is collaborating with IIT-Gandhinagar to launch the Eklavaya series. This Eklavya series is to clarify National Education Policy (NEP-2020) and showcase how to effectively implement the NEP-2020 in schools across the country.
The online registration for the Eklavya series has begun on the official website, eklavya.iitgandhinagar.ac.in.
The Eklavya is an interactive online educational programme for teachers and students that will contain numerous hands-on activities, projects, models which help in conceptual understanding of various topics, thought-provoking questions, assignments that promote out-of-box creative thinking (Why Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin at 36 degrees), Inspiring DIY (Do It Yourself) project videos using local materials which relate the curriculum to real life.
After a grand success of 3030 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), CBSE and IIT-Gandhinagar have come together with the Eklavya Series on this Teachers’ Day (September 5).
Implementing the vision set by the NEP 2020 might, sometimes, seem intimidating to school teachers and administrators. This is the gap that CBSE and IIT-Gandhinagar are trying to bridge with the Eklavya series.
