CBSE Comes Up With Career Guidance Booklet For Class-XII Students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has prepared a 122-page booklet for Class-XII students to help them choose their career options. The booklet contains 113 fields where students can pursue their higher education as per their interests.
The booklet which has been introduced by the CBSE has a complete list and information about the different educational institutions which come under each of the mentioned programmes.
Students are advised to visit CBSE’s official website where the booklet will shortly be uploaded.
There are approximately 20,299 schools in India and 220 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE.
Last month, CBSE had also announced the launch of an aptitude test ‘Tamanna’ for class XII students to help them determine their strength and weaknesses before picking the stream of their choice. It will basically help students shortlist their career options, the board had said in a circular.
The aptitude test is likely to be introduced from the coming academic session. The guidelines are being prepared by NCERT.
