The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed students to download the DigiLocker application to access their marks as and when the results are announced. The step was taken to provide timely results as website may crash due to high traffic.
According to a Times Now report, the board has begun sending a direct link to students to download the DigiLocker app via SMSes. Those not wanting to download the app on their phones can also access DigiLocker online on digilocker.gov.in.
The marksheet available on DigiLocker app will also be accepted for admissions to Class XI and graduation courses. Moreover, this year, the board will issue a combined marksheet-cum-passing-certificate for class X while separate ones for class XII students, according to reports.
