New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch online training for teachers on DIKSHA platform for capacity building from June 15.
The courses include selected CBSE training manuals and NCERT’s NISHTHA modules.
At present, there are only two courses available for teachers – ‘Pedagogy of Environmental Studies’ and ‘Health and Well-Being in Schools’.
Besides, CBSE is planning to launch more courses on ‘Pedagogy of Language’, ‘Learning Outcomes and Pedagogy’ and ‘Pedagogy of Mathematics’ in June.
Digital certificates will be provided to the teachers after successful completion of the training courses, the Board said.
Interested teachers can register at DIKSHA portal and access the courses through smartphone or computers.
