Chevening Scholarships & Fellowships For Indians: Check Details, Know How To Apply

London: The application window for Chevening Scholarships & Fellowships is open for Indian students.

Chevening is the UK government’s flagship global scholarship scheme. And Chevening India programme is the largest in the world, offering up to 100 fully paid scholarships and fellowships, every year.

This year, the number of Indian students going to the UK could be more as Adani Group has partnered with Chevening to co-sponsor five scholars who will pursue a one-year Master’s course in Artificial Intelligence. In addition, the Jharkhand government will co-sponsor five Chevening scholars from minority groups in the state.

Scholarships are given to outstanding Indian graduates for a one-year Master’s degree, to study any subject, at recognised universities in the UK.

Fellowships are for mid-to-senior level professionals who are looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in their specific field of work.

The programmes are tailored, short courses which usually run for 8-11 weeks at a designated UK University.

There are over 3500 Chevening alumni in India.
