New Delhi: Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has said that the overall wellbeing of children is of huge importance and must be included in mainstream education.
Sisodia highlighted the importance of children’s education on the positive impacts of mindfulness and resilience for overall wellbeing. He said this while addressing the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference on mental health and socio-emotional being. The minister advocated for the introduction of wellbeing as a mainstream subject.
The Harvard Social Enterprise Conference was a virtual debate session and discussion stressing the aspects of social enterprise. Leaders, practitioners and students who initiated dialogues in topics including “resilience and reckoning” with “innovations in mental health” attended the conference.
