Kolkata: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced on Friday that the Class XII board exams would be held at their respective schools in June in view of the rising COVID-19 cases throughout the country.
WBCHSE president Mahua Das said via a statement that exams will be held during the second half of the day on the scheduled dates. According to her, the annual exams for Class XI students have been called off for the year.
“The higher secondary examinations for 2021 will be held in the respective educational institute of a candidate from 12 noon to 3.15 pm,” the council president said.
Higher Secondary exams are scheduled to start on June 15 and continue till July 2.
