New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday told the Supreme Court (SC) that compartment results for class XII students will be announced before October 10.
As per its academic calendar, the admissions to colleges will close by October 31, said the University Grants Commission (UGC) counsel to the bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Sanjiv Khanna.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court had told CBSE to announce the results of the compartment examination as soon as possible, so that the career of around 2 lakh students writing the compartment exams does not suffer.
