NEW DFELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the answer key for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the provisional answer keys at the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The objection window for raising issues against the provisional answer key will open at 4 pm of December 2 and close at 4 pm of December 3, said a notice issued by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

How to raise objection to CLAT 2025 answer key
Step 1: Login to your CLAT account at https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2024/
Step 2: Click on ‘Submit Objections’.
Step 3: Select the Question Booklet set, ‘Type of Objection’, i.e., ‘About the Answer Key’ or ‘About the Question’, as appropriate.
Step 4: Select question number, enter your objection details and click on ‘Submit Objection’.
Step 5: Once all your objections are submitted, click the ‘Make Payment’ button to make payment.
The final answer key will be published on December 9, 2024 followed by results of CLAT 2025 on December 10.
Registration for admissions counselling opens on December 11, 2024 and will conclude on December 20, 2024.
Seat allotment schedule
- The first allotment list will be released on December 26, 2024. The candidates need to make the payment and confirm their choice by January 4, 2025.
- The second allotment list will be released on January 10, 2025. The candidates are required to make the payment and confirm their choice by January 16, 2025.
- Third allotment list will be released on January 24, 2025, and candidates have time till January 30, 2025 to make the payment and confirm their choice.
- Fourth and fifth allotment lists will be released on May 20 and May 29 respectively.
CLAT 2025 was held on December 1. As per CNLUs, the exam was conducted across 141 centres in 25 states and four Union Territories.
“The exam witnessed an unprecedented participation rate, with 96.36% of Undergraduate applicants and 92.13% of Postgraduate applicants appearing for the test,” an official notification said.
As per the detailed analysis shared by students and experts, the level of difficulty for this year’s exam as less than previous years.
There is no change in the structure of the paper when compared to CLAT 2024, as the number of questions in each section was exactly same as the last year — which is 120 questions in five sections.
