New Delhi: Common Service Centre (CSC), Special Purpose Vehicle, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, will be employing 20 lakh digital cadets in 4 lakh CSCs across the country.
Launching the 11th CSC Diwas last week, Common Service Centre CEO Dinesh Kumar Tyagi said that every CSC will employ five digital cadets who will provide doorstep access for Grameen eStores and Kisan eMart. It will also help CSCs conduct various surveys for the government and other agencies, the Deccan Herald reported.
Tyagi also launched the mobile app of Digital Seva Portal that would enable the centre deliver services to citizens at home. This would also connect remote and hilly areas, Tyagi added.
The CSC scheme is the ‘digital India’ initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, that delivers government services.
