NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2025 for the June session.
Candidates who have appeared for the test can download their scorecards from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in. The Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam, conducted on July 28, was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 218 cities.
The test was conducted in two shifts and covered five subjects.
Out of the 1,95,241 candidates who registered for the exam, 1,47,732 candidates appeared, said a notification issued by the NTA.

The CSIR UGC NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship in universities and colleges.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET 2025 examination saw varied participation across disciplines, with Life Sciences drawing the highest number of candidates—78,949 registered and 60,213 appearing.
Chemical Sciences followed with 43,313 registrations and 32,987 candidates appearing. Mathematical Sciences had 35,529 registered candidates, of which 26,644 appeared, while Physical Sciences recorded 30,345 registrations and 22,734 appearances.
The Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences category saw 7,105 registrations, with 5,154 candidates appearing for the test.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the provisional answer key and recorded responses on its official website from August 1 to August 3, 2025, inviting objections from candidates. After reviewing the submitted challenges, the final answer key was compiled and used for calculating the results, the NTA said.
