Bhubaneswar: Cyprus International University (CIU) has invited applications for scholarships which support students pursuing degree programmes including undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and PhD in the university.
Located in northern Cyprus, the Cyprus International University is recognized by Turkey. CIU offers 63 undergraduate, 60 graduate and post-graduate, as well as PhD programmes.
Scholarships are offered for courses in applied sciences, foreign languages, health sciences, physical education and sports, tourism and hotel management, and vocational studies.
There are various categories under the (CIU) Undergraduate Scholarships 2021, including international student scholarship, academic scholarship, sports scholarship and others.
Scholarship eligibility criteria for undergraduate programme
- All international students can apply.
- Applicants must submit a completed application form
- Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents
- English Language competence the certificate will be required (TOEFL or IELTS) or if a candidate doesn’t have it, so he/she will have to clear the English proficiency exam after the arrival on the campus.
- A scanned copy of the Passport will be required.
- Signed fully completed CIU rules and regulations documents will be submitted.
Scholarship eligibility criteria for Masters programme
- All international students can apply.
- A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree Diploma with 3.50 cGPA can apply.
- Each term’s transcript of a Bachelor’s Degree will be attached.
- English Language competence the certificate will be required (TOEFL or IELTS) or if a candidate doesn’t have it, so he/she will have to clear the English proficiency exam after the arrival on the campus.
- A scanned copy of the Passport will be required.
- A CV
- Signed fully completed CIU rules and regulations documents will be submitted.

- All international students can apply.
- A candidate with Bachelors’s and master’s Degree Diploma with 3.50 cGPA can apply.
- Each term’s transcript of Bachelor’s and master’s degrees will be attached.

How to apply
- Candidates have to apply online via official website
- Applicant should not use an agent code if applying for himself and should not send application via email or post
- If an applicant is working with an educational agency or is a regional representative, he should ask for his ‘Agent Code’ before applying
- Candidates should submit a fully completed application with all required documents via online portal
