New Delhi: The DAV College Managing Committee (DAVCMC) has announced the DAV Recruitment 2026-27 drive for teaching and non-teaching staff across DAV Public Schools in the country.
The recruitment is being conducted for the 2027-28 academic session, with candidates from different states eligible to apply for the available posts.
The recruitment covers posts such as Post-graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Primary Teacher (PRT), Nursery/Pre-Primary Teacher, Counsellor/Wellness Teacher and various non-teaching roles.
The application process is conducted online through the centralised DAV recruitment portal, while the recruitment process includes document verification, a Computer-Based Test (CBT), demo class and interview.
DAVCMC released the DAV Staff Recruitment 2026-27 Notification on 16 September through its official recruitment portal, davrecruit.davcmc.in.
Individual DAV schools and zones are also expected to publish their post-wise advertisements in national and regional newspapers between 16 and 22 September 2026.
Since vacancies can differ between schools and zones, candidates are required to check the specific advertisement of the school or zone they wish to apply for before submitting the application.
The eligibility requirements vary according to the post and subject.
Eligible candidates can complete the DAV CBT 2027-28 registration through the official DAVCMC recruitment portal. The registration page allows candidates to create a new profile or log in to an existing profile.
How to Apply Online
- Visit the official DAV recruitment website, davrecruit.davcmc.in.
- Register using your own mobile number and email ID and verify both through OTP.
- Complete the CBT Registration Form with personal, academic and post-preference details.
- Submit the form as “Form Ready for Verification”. The form remains editable at this stage.
- Print the form and visit the nearest DAV Verification Center with the original testimonials.
- Once the school verifies and approves the form, it becomes locked for editing.
- Pay the CBT fee online within 7 days of approval.
- Download and retain the confirmation receipt for future reference.
Application Fee
The DAV Recruitment 2026 application fee is Rs 300 for all candidates. Candidates need to pay the fee online after document verification approval, within the prescribed fee-payment window. Successful fee payment is required to be eligible to appear for the DAV CBT.
Pay Scales
The salary for teaching posts in DAV schools generally follow the levels given below. The exact in-hand salary may vary depending on the state and school.
- PGT – Rs. 47,600 – Rs. 1,51,100 (Level 8)
- TGT – Rs. 44,900 – Rs. 1,42,400 (Level 7)
- PRT – Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400 (Level 6)
