New Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday said that the revised schedule for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams, which were put on hold due to the countrywide lockdown, will be decided after May 3.
“The UPSC and SSC exams that were put on hold will be definitely held. The exam dates will be decided after the lockdown ends on May 3,” the minister tweeted.
He added that the exam dates will be decided in such a manner that sufficient time will be given to all the aspirants to reach their designated exam centres.
The statement comes just days after UPSC said that it would review the situation and then decide on the dates for all interviews, examinations and recruitment boards where candidates and advisers were required to travel from all parts of the country.
