New Delhi: The Delhi University has now got more time to chalk out plans for holding final year examinations after the Delhi High Court granted its wish.
The High Court’s division bench, comprising Justices Subramonium Prasad and Hima Kohli, granted time after senior advocate Sachin Dutta appealed for the university. Dutta informed the court that a new plan has to chalked out following University Grants Commission’s (UGC) latest guidelines.
The court said, “Chart out a course and be clear on where you want to go.” The High Court also asked the varsity to file an affidavit regarding the same by July 13 i.e. Monday. The matter has been posted for hearing again on July 14.
The Delhi University informed the court on Wednesday that it has postponed the online Open Book Examination (OBE) till August 15. The exams were scheduled to commence on July 10.
