New Delhi: Schools reopened in the national capital for classes IX and IX on Friday. Schools resumed after almost 10 months after they were forced to down shutters in March due to the spread of COVID-19.
The government had reopened schools for classes X and XII on January 18 keeping in mind the board exams. However, the Delhi government had said that the students should be called to school only with the parents’ consent.
Several states have already reopened schools with precautionary measures and COVID-19 guidelines in place.
Meanwhile, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain informed that in the fifth Sero survey done in the national capital, antibodies against the COVID-19 have been detected in 56.13 per cent of the population, reported news agency ANI.
