Distinguished Speakers From 16 Countries Attend BGU’s International Conference
Bhubaneswar: Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar virtually conducted an International Conference on “Global Digital Economy – Management Challenges and Opportunity” in collaboration with Ljubljana University, Slovenia on April 15-16.
Forty-one speakers of international repute and over 250 delegates from 16 countries like USA, Canada, UK, China, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Norway, Croatia, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Finland, Nepal, and India attended the conference. They presented their research papers in six different technical sessions during the two-day event.
The world-renowned marketing management guru and former Dean of Kellogg School of Management, USA, Professor Dipak C Jain inaugurated the conference and delivered the address, according to a release from the university.
He emphasised on humanising the business by recognising people as the source of differentiation and value creation. He advised the delegates to keep ‘eyes on the horizon and feet on the ground”.
Co-Founder & President, Institute for Economic Democracy, Ljubljana & Visiting Scholar, University of California, USA, Professor David Ellerman and Professor Emeritus, Norwegian Business School, Professor Morten Huse delivered the keynote addresses.
Distinguished dignitaries like Professor H. Chaturvedi, Professor RK Mishra, and Professor Monika Kalin Golob also addressed the audience in the inaugural session. BGU vice-chancellor Professor PP Mathur delivered the welcome address and the conference chair, Dean, Birla School of Management, Professor Parameswar Nayak offered vote of thanks.
