New Delhi: Enterprise blockchain solutions provider DLT Labs will set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. DLT Labs will shell out up to Rs 1 crore for the proposed CoE in Uttar Pradesh this year.
The firm highlighted its role in fostering the knowledge of students as it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the AKTU, according to a statement from the DLT Labs reported by ABP Education.
According to the MoU, the onus will be on AKTU to provide the physical infrastructure while DLT Labs will bring in enterprise blockchain expertise and cloud infrastructure.
DLT Labs founder and CTO Neeraj Srivastava revealed that the company will hire 600 people for the project. Srivastava added that the company was committed to collaborating with AKTU and working together with the UP government on building smart cities through blockchain technology, the report said.
DLT Labs came into existence in 2017. The company, formed by Srivastava and his partners Ajay Singh and Umesh Singh Kushwaha, currently has a staff strength of over 400 across India, Canada, Japan, Singapore and the United States.
