New Delhi: The ‘Nadi ko Jano’ app was launched by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan during an online webinar organised at the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal to celebrate Vyaas Pooja Mahotsav on Sunday.
According to a press release, the Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal president Dr Sachidananda Joshi hosted the ‘Vyaas Pooja Mahotsav’ webinar to highlight the role of Bhartiya ethos and teachers while implementation the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
Education Minister during his speech on the occasion said that nature is the first teacher of man and that its role is paramount in Indian society. “Indians have survived for thousands of years because of the Indian tradition of imparting knowledge to future generations,” Pradhan was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
He also lauded the role of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal. “Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal is a thread, which is connecting past and present to our future,” he said.
“Things are changing rapidly in this tech-enabled world. Science is changing the world how we see it. But the basis of these scientific innovations is the self-awareness that resides within us,” Pradhan added.
