Education Ministry Rules Out Relaxation In UGC-NET Requirement For Lecturer Posts

New Delhi: Any proposal to relax the requirement of the UGC-NET exam for lecturer’s posts in government and private colleges has been ruled out by the education ministry.

Union Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said this via the statement in response to a written question in the Rajya Sabha.

“The University Grants Commission (UGC) has informed that there is no proposal at present to relax the UGC NET exam for lecturership posts,” the education minister said.
