New Delhi: For the second straight year, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) recorded the highest pass percentage in Class X CBSE exams among all institutions across the country.
A whopping 99.23% of KVS students cleared the Board exams. The overall pass percentage in the country is 91.46.
The all-India topper in Kendriya Vidyalayas was Abhay Nayak of Odisha’s KV Sambalpur OD, with 497 marks out of 500 (99.4%).
The total number of KVS students who appeared for the exams from 1168 KVS schools pan India was 94,498, of whom 93,774 came through.
As many as 846 of the 1168 KVS schools in the country saw 100% students clearing the exams.
A total of 1717 KVS students secured an aggregate of 95% and above, while 9104 scored 90%-plus.
