London: British parents must be relieved following BBC’s launch of a new educational offering on Monday. Now, the British children will have access to hours of curriculum-based learning on television every day, reported Reuters.
The BBC announced its initiative last week to tide over new lockdowns in England and Scotland, to “ensure all children can access curriculum-based learning, even if they don’t have access to the internet,” BBC said in a press release.
BBC Bitesize Daily Secondary presenter Katie Thistleton said the aim is to make her show and others available to a wide audience. The programme is an hourly show for children aged 11 and over that was made last year during the pandemic.
The Bitesize Daily shows for primary and secondary school level are 20-minute capsules that work for different ages and both include “real teachers” delivering “mini lessons.”
