New Delhi: On Sunday, free high speed Wi-Fi services for all state colleges and government universities was launched by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, from a college in Doiwala, his constituency, reported The Indian Express.
Citing the move to be a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative, Rawat said the free internet connectivity will aid students in their education.
He also added that Uttarakhand was the first state in the country to provide free internet to all government colleges and universities.
