Bhubaneswar: Gangadhar Meher University (GMU) declared the result against vacant seats in UG Science/ Arts/ Commerce and Self Financing programmes for the session 2021-22 on Wednesday. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance examination can check their names in the merit list on the official website of the varsity www.gmuniversity.ac.in.
Two hundred and sixty applicants have been provisionally selected on merit to take admission into the first semester.
“The provisionally selected candidates are required to pay the admission fee online through the link provided in the official website and report at the University on October 8 between 9 am and 12 noon in the concerned department, failing which their candidature will be cancelled,” according to a notification.
Candidates have to bring the hard copy of the intimation letter and application form, online payment receipt slip, original CLC, conduct certificate, original high school certificate, higher secondary (+2) mark sheet- cum- provisional certificate, caste certificates and four recent colour photos (passport size) on the day of document verification.
The final selection list from the reported-waitlisted applicants will be published on the same day at 2 pm. The listed candidates have to take admission between 2 pm and 5 pm by paying the required fees online.
