Sambalpur: The Gangadhar Meher University (GMU) is set to offer a couple of new postgraduate courses in Bio-Statistics and PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN). The self-financed courses will commence from the ensuing academic session.
According to The New Indian Express, GMU deputy registrar Uma Charan Pati said that Bio-Statistics is an upgraded version of statistics and will have 20 seats. The one year PG diploma will have 12 seats.
The entrance tests for both the courses are scheduled for Tuesday while the first phase admissions will be completed by Wednesday.
Classes will start once the government guidelines for reopening educational institutions are released.
