Global Firm Launches ‘Women In Trading’ Programme For IIT & BITS Students

New Delhi: Global financial trading firm IMC Trading, headquartered in Amsterdam, has announced the launch of its India office’s first “Women in Trading and Technology” programme, aimed at empowering women students from premier institutes.

Applications open on 6 October for the selective two‑day initiative, designed to introduce participants to the dynamic world of trading, technology, and quantitative research.

The programme is open exclusively to women pursuing BTech, BE, Dual Degree or BS Mathematics, graduating in 2029, at any of the 23 IITs or at BITS Pilani/Goa.

The programme will feature interactive sessions, trading simulations, and coding challenges, offering hands‑on exposure to quantitative trading and technology. It is tailored for students keen on exploring careers at the intersection of financial markets and advanced technology.

IMC Trading also runs internship opportunities for STEM, computer science, finance and related disciplines, providing real‑world projects and mentorship. Additionally, its Launchpad programme offers second‑year undergraduates a two‑day discovery experience in quantitative trading, software engineering, and FPGA roles.
