Govt’s SWAYAM Portal Opens ‘Free’ Admissions To Courses

New Delhi: Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) platform has opened admissions to its various online courses offered free of cost by IITs, IGNOU, IIM Bangalore, NCERT, among other institutions.

Candidates from Class IX to postgraduate level can enroll for the courses at swayam.gov.in. The duration of the courses is between four and 24 weeks. Besides, the examinations for the new batch will be held from September to November.

The students can get SWAYAM certificate only after paying certain fees for taking the final exam.

At present, there are 3,140 courses being offered at the platform that include Academic Writing, Digital Marketing, Animation, Mathematical Economics, Python for Data Science, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) course, among others.

Over 14 lakh students have enrolled in SWAYAM so far, as reported by NDTV.
