The schools in Haryana will reopen on July 27, the Directorate School Education Haryana announced. The state education board also said that the schools will start post the summer vacation from July 1-26.
According to a report in NDTV, all the universities and colleges in the state will be shut till July 31, though e-learning will continue as it is. Further decision on reopening higher education centres will be taken following discussion with the stakeholders and respective vice-chancellors.
Other reports suggested that Directorate of School Education in Haryana has issued instruction that the district administration must ensure compliance with the SOPs prescribed for educational institutions to function.
Haryana has so far reported 14,548 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 236 deaths till now.
