Here’s Good News For Candidates Scouting For Jobs In UAE; Find Out

New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has suggested a set of guidelines which a university is required to follow while sending verification reports of the degree certificates awarded by them to the Indian mission in Dubai.

The verification certificate is insisted by recruiters in UAE while providing employment to Indian job seekers.

In a communication to the vice-chancellors on Wednesday, UGC suggested that there was a need to facilitate the verification report more expeditiously for the benefit of the consulate in Dubai to issue genuineness certificate to India degree holders scouting for jobs.

It suggested that the reports be sent to the mission in typewritten format only and in English. Further, the report should be posted to the mission within a time frame.

It said that the verification report was one of the many issues that had come up during the recent visit of senior Indian government officials to UAE.

The UGC communication follows a spate of reports about Indian candidates being denied job in UAE over issues relating to the genuineness of the certificates. Some reports have even claimed that delay in getting the verification certificates had put the Indian employees at odds with the employers.
