Cuttack: St. Xavier’s High School, Nayabazar celebrated Environment Day 2021 by planting almost 2700 saplings here on Saturday, June 5.
The school celebrated Environment Week from May 31 to June 5 with the opening ceremony witnessing a special assembly with a pledge to save the environment.
Students were provided claymation, green transformation, waste treatment, aide-memoire, leaf painting, passerine plumage as different platforms to showcase their innovative ideas.
St. Xavier’s HS divided the students into groups according to their classes to perform several fun activities. The closing ceremony was marked by the Each One Plant One theme.
Chairman GS Patnaik, director Dr PC Mohanty, Corporate Head Samyak Mohanty, Principal Md Mustafa Majid, Headmaster Biyat Bihari Mishra and all teachers were present on the occasion on Saturday.
