HRD Ministry Launches Helpline Portal For Students

New Delhi: Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday launched a helpline portal to help the students who are facing difficulties due to the closure of educational institutions in view of the pandemic.

Developed by two student interns at All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), this helpline portal will be connecting people who are willing to help with those who need help.

The HRD minister, as quoted by IE said. “This portal is essentially to connect those who are willing to provide help with those who need help. The nature of support includes accommodation, food, online classes, attendance, examinations, scholarships, health, transport and harassment of any kind,”

Till now, around 6,500 colleges have come forward to provide support to the students who are facing difficulty.
