New Delhi: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will hold the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) July session exam on July 10. The exam will be conducted in remote-proctored mode instead of conducting the same from test centres due to the coronavirus crisis across the country.
Aspirants can appear for the test via their own laptop, desktop from home or other convenient places. However, candidates will not be permitted to take the test through smartphone (mobile) or tablet etc.
The viva voce portion will not be conducted in July as the exam is being held in remote proctored mode.
“All eligible candidates are advised to plan for availability of laptop/ desktop, uninterrupted power supply, continuous internet connectivity and other technical requirements/ specifications,” ICSI said via a notification.
Candidates will be allowed to log in to the test portal 30 minutes prior to the time specified for the start of the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam after the completion of 15 minutes of the start of the exam. Also, no candidate will be allowed to complete the test till the expiry of 90 minutes of the start of the exam, reported NDTV.
Aspirants must get a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each part — Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 — separately as the case may be, and 50 per cent marks in aggregate of all parts put together for clearing the test. Negative marking for wrong answers won’t be applied.
