New Delhi: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University’s (AKTU) constituent college, the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), will introduce two new courses— M Tech (artificial intelligence and data science) and B Tech computer science and engineering (artificial intelligence)— from 2021-22 session.
In compliance with the National Education Policy (NEP), B Tech computer science will also be taught in Hindi in the affiliated institutions.
The decisions were made in the university’s executive council meeting on Tuesday under vice-chancellor Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak. Approval was also given to the minutes of the building committee, academic council and finance committee, reported Hindustan Times.
Pro vice-chancellor of the varsity, prof Vineet Kansal apprised the council members about the works done by the university in the last six months. According to the university spokesman Asheesh Misra, the members appreciated the work.
