New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has deferred the deadline for re-registration for the January session. Now, students can register online on the Samarth platform until January 31.
Government’s Samarth platform helps various universities hold online courses. IGNOU had earlier deferred the last date for submission of dissertation and project work till January 15, reported ABP Education.
The students in undergraduate, postgraduate or semester-based courses of two or three-year duration will be able to avail the new deadline extension.
Students would have to visit the official website of IGNOU-Samarth and register by making an online payment for re-registration. The admission will be confirmed after the payment is cleared.
Steps to re-register for online IGNOU-Samarth courses:
Visit the official website ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in
Login to the portal
The details of pre-filled admission forms based on your academic progress will be displayed
Check the details and enter the semester you want to re-register for
Make payment online
You will get an ‘admission confirmed’ receipt
Download and take a printout of further use
