IGNOU Introduces MSc In Food Safety & Quality Management

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a Masters in Food Safety and Quality Management course.

The minimum course duration is 2 years and the maximum 4 years. Candidates need to apply online via IGNOU Samarth’s official website — ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. The application deadline without late fees is February 10.

The candidates must be graduate/postgraduate in Science with Chemistry/Bio, or chemistry or microbiology as one of the subjects or graduation/postgraduation in allied sciences like Agriculture/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ Post Harvest Technology/ Engineering/ Home Science/ Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Horticulture/ Dairy Technology/ Veterinary/ Fisheries/ Hotel Management and Catering/ Hospitality Management etc or graduation with PG Diploma in Food Safety and Quality Management.
