Kolkata: Five Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta students won the Best Teams awards at X-Culture 2020-2b, an international student collaboration project and competition.
The students have been awarded for developing solutions to real-life problems posed by various corporates and professionals. These students were members of separate teams that participated in the competition, according to NDTV.
The winners will have the opportunities to work in the professional world and gain real-life corporate exposure. The winners have been richer by $2,000, post-market commission for solutions. Some of them may also be absorbed as permanent or regular employees with the participating companies.
Prof. Ramya Venkateswaran-mentored team comprising Soham Basu Chaudhury, Arun Sharma, Haritha Unnikrishnan, Ikjot Kaur, Ritika Verma bagged the X-Culture Best Teams Awards.
Besides IIM-Calcutta, 41 other groups were adjudged as ‘best teams’ out of 1,277 teams that took part.
