IIM-CAT 2021 On Sunday; Check Exam-Day Dress Code & Guidelines

New Delhi: Candidates are set to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021) scheduled for Sunday, November 28.

The organising institute, IIM Ahmedabad has prescribed the dress code for the CAT 2021 for male and female candidates that needs to be strictly followed on the exam day. Wearing a mask has been made mandatory, without which the candidates won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.

Candidates should follow the COVID guidelines like wearing a mask and carrying a sanitiser with them. No bags will be allowed inside the exam hall. Any electronic gadgets, mobile phones, watches, calculators, or goggles are also disallowed in the exam centre.

CAT 2021: Dress code

—  Candidates should not wear footwear with high heels or thick soles.

—  Candidates should wear slippers or slip-on shoes as they have thin bottom soles.

—  Socks, plain type of pullovers/sweaters/cardigans without any pockets are allowed.

— Jeans, trousers, or pants, etc. should not have multiple pockets.

— Clothes should not have large buttons.

— Jewellery or ornament of any type which contains metal is not allowed.

— Any type of higher value thing should not be carried to the exam hall. Henna on the palm is not allowed as it will cause trouble in capturing the candidate’s biometric fingerprint.
