Pune: An online workshop on ’Writing About Science for Non-Scientific Audiences’ will be organized by the Science Media at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, in collaboration with IndiaBioscience from December 7 to 11, reported The Times of India.
To attend the workshop, one should have cleared Class XII (Science), with no age limit. The registration will close by December 3.
According to the national daily and an official release, the workshop aims at training students and researchers in writing science stories in an effective, accessible, and engaging manner, interviewing scientists, doing research, identifying and creating a narrative flow for good science stories, etc.
National Council for Science & Technology Communication, Department of Science & Technology is funding this free workshop, according to the official release.
