Kolkata: The registrations for admission into the five-year BS-MS dual degree programmes have kicked off at the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER).
Candidates, who have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2021 and have secured a rank within 15,000 in the Common Rank List (CRL), are eligible to apply on the official website — http://iiseradmission.in/.
According to the IISER, the Class XII Board examination’s additional cut-off criteria for marks secured are applicable. The requirement for GEN, OBC and NCL candidates is 60 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in Class XII Board exam. For SC/ST categories and persons with disabilities (PwD), they require 55 per cent marks from any recognised board.
For General, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories, the application fee for the candidates is Rs 2,000, for PwD and candidates under SC, ST categories the fee is Rs 1,000. Foreign nationals will have to pay an application fee of $100.
